Background

Before placing the order, Flink customers have to complete the checkout process. The checkout screen asks customers to enter their personal details, double-check their delivery address and add an optional voucher code. Voucher codes help the business to acquire new customers.

At the moment though, the voucher are not being used as a service to reach the full potential of this feature. For example, one of the problems in the process of applying a voucher is that if an applied voucher doesn’t work, the app displays a generic failure message, leaving users unaware of the real problem and unable to solve it in order to benefit from the voucher.

Goals

  • The business goal is to have a scalable, easy to use voucher service, with the main objectives of reducing the abandoned carts and truly benefiting our customers and the business.

  • Innovative voucher flow that increases the overall conversion
